- This is our half day point of care testing course that mainly covers device usage (PTS CardioChek PA or the Acon Mission Lipid Pro)
- For beginners or those that would like a more in-depth course, particularly covering cholesterol, Glucose, CVD theory see our full day course
- No medical background needed although a strong background in health and fitness is a minimum requirement.
- The cholesterol testing training course will provide health professionals with the relevant practical skills to deliver a point of care testing, Cholesterol and Blood Glucose test.
- No medical background is required, a certificate is issued subject to passing a practical and theory assessment.
- Ideal for those conducting NHS health checks or community health promotion

- Subject to completing and passing the practical and theory assessment, successful participants get awarded with a competency certificate valid for 3 years .
- This can be used for evidence for compliance and audit purpose.

Price is £625 plus travel (£0.50 per mile)
